1. While the cabinet door is open, check the colour of the cabinet interior. Lower quality kitchens will have a white or a mottled inertia, rather than being colour-coordinated. Despite what you may initially think, this will have an effect on the outward appearance of the cabinet. The gap between the two cabinets will show up white if colour coordinating is not used. This may also occur on the side of ‘end cabinets’.
2. Check the base of the drawers. Are they flimsy? If so, these may give over time.
